| The Mona Lisa's New Home at the Louvre |
|
|
Leonardo Da Vinci's painting of the Mona Lisa has been moved to its new site within the walls of the Louvre Museum, Paris. The reason for its having been moved is, it is said, to improve the lighting. Out of the window goes the theory that poor lighting preserves a painting better. Although there are those of us who have never visited even the old home, Jonathan Jones of the Guardian was privileged to visit the new one.
