Local Artist

Welcome to localartist.org.uk.  The purpose of this site is to enable artists of all levels to showcase their work in an environment that encourages them to contribute good quality material that otherwise would remain beyond view in private collections, often never seeing the light of day.

We are based in the United Kingdom, and although the central focus of the material is UK-based, we will be welcoming submissions from all over the world.

We offer the opportunity to participate at several levels:

• Display your art using our interactive gallery facility
• Submit your own art news articles
• Submit links to your own art web site or online gallery

We also encourage participation through a facility to add constructive comment relating to each piece.

Our use of technology is solely to facilitate artistic expression, not to take precedence over it.  Each gallery has an interactive feature that allows you to view collections of work as a digital montage.
